NBC and Peacock will bring fun entertainment to your Thanksgiving day with the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, the Annual Dog Show sponsored by Purina, and San Francisco 49ers vs Seattle Seahawks

NBC’s kicking off the holiday season with the 97th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade featuring a can’t miss lineup of floats, balloons, performers and more.
As NBCU brings families across the country together this holiday season, thousands of volunteers will come together to bring The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade to life, including NBCU employees from across the portfolio.
Characters from NBCU’s beloved IP will be on display throughout the parade including balloons from Dreamwork’s Kung Fu Panda and Illumination’s Stuart the Minion and Uncle Dan. NBCU’s streaming service, Peacock will also make its way down the parade path with a float titled “Birds of a Feather Stream Together”.

The Night Before
Countdown to Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
When: Wednesday, Nov. 22, 8-9 p.m. on NBC
NBC kicks off the holiday season live from the famous starting line on the eve of the iconic Thanksgiving Day parade. Viewers will get a sneak peek at the incredible stories behind the floats, balloons and bands on their journey to the streets of New York.
A Saturday Night Live Thanksgiving Special
When: Wednesday, Nov. 22, 9-11 p.m. on NBC and next day on Peacock.
The iconic late-night program will highlight memorable Thanksgiving-themed sketches from its 47 seasons.
Thanksgiving Day
97th Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
When: Thursday, Nov. 23, 8:30 a.m.-12 p.m. on NBC and simulcast on Peacock with an encore at 2 p.m.
Starting a half-hour early for the first time, the world-famous Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade continues to bring the magic of the parade to New York City spectators and a national television audience with its exciting array of balloons, floats, marching bands, celebrities and more. For the first time ever, the Parade will be extended by an extra 30 minutes, offering more fun than ever. Read more about the special guests for the parade here.
National Dog Show Presented by Purina
When: Thursday, Nov. 23, 12-2 p.m. on NBC and simulcast on Peacock with an encore on Nov. 25 at 8 p.m.
NBC’s Thanksgiving Day tradition is hosted by John O’Hurley, former “Seinfeld” star and winner of “Dancing with the Stars” along with expert analyst David Frei. Mary Carillo, behind-the-scenes reporter and interviewer, will also be in attendance.
San Francisco 49ers vs Seattle Seahawks
When: 8:20pm on NBC and Peacock (coverage begins at 8pm ET with Football Night in America)
