NBCUniversal is the official content partner for Pride Live and the SNMVC, documenting the road to the Visitor Center’s grand opening and live streaming the event. The company’s platforms will publish stories, air segments, and create content that profiles the people and organizations who have supported the opening, as well as firsthand accounts and other historical and timely stories about the fight for LGBTQIA+ equality. Following the opening, NBCUniversal will create rotating content and programming that will be featured at the Visitor Center throughout the multi-year partnership.

The Visitor Center commemorates the Stonewall Rebellion of 1969 and the significant historical moments that preceded and followed in the Queer equality movement. Located at 51 Christopher Street, the SNMVC opens on June 28, 2024, marking the 55th anniversary of the historic Stonewall Rebellion that ignited the fight for full LGBTQIA+ equality.

Upon entering the space, visitors will have a multifaceted learning experience that speaks to today’s generations, encouraging them to carry forward the Stonewall legacy and the ongoing fight for full LGBTQIA+ equality.
