Oppenheimer's Historic 7 Academy Awards
In a special night for Christopher Nolan, Universal Pictures, and the entire Oppenheimer team, the film led this year's slate of winners with 7 wins, tying The Sting (1973), Out of Africa (1985) and Schindler’s List (1993) for the most ever for a Universal film. Oppenheimer — which became the highest-ever grossing biopic at over $950 million worldwide — is also the highest grossing movie to win Best Picture since The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2004), and the first to release theatrically in July since Forest Gump (1995).
Universal’s Donna Langley thanked many for their hard work leading to the "eight pinch-me moments."

About The Holdovers
The Holdovers follows a curmudgeonly instructor (Paul Giamatti) at a New England prep school who is forced to remain on campus during Christmas break to babysit the handful of students with nowhere to go. Eventually he forms an unlikely bond with one of them — a damaged, brainy troublemaker (newcomer Dominic Sessa) — and with the school's head cook, who has just lost a son in Vietnam (Da'Vine Joy Randolph).
