Oxygen Media Finishes 2017 as the Fastest Growing Cable Entertainment Network

OXYGEN.COM HAS ITS BEST YEAR EVER IN VISITS AND UNIQUE VISITORS
Oxygen Media, the destination for high quality crime programming, is bucking industry trends by finishing 2017 as the fastest growing cable entertainment network among total viewers in primetime (up +25% vs. 2016) and in total day (up +53% vs. 2016). Additionally, Oxygen is up +14% among P18-49 and up +17% among P25-54 in total day versus last year.
Helping to fuel this growth, original series such as “Cold Justice” and “Criminal Confessions” from Executive Producer Dick Wolf, and investigative series like “The Disappearance of Natalee Holloway,” have become appointment TV with L3 ratings improving +148% vs. live viewing. Adding to the sizeable audiences popular series like “Snapped,” and “Snapped: Notorious” consistently attract, these new true crime series are bringing in fresh viewers to Oxygen, with half their audience previously being infrequent or non-viewersof the network.
Highlighting Oxygen’s success in the crime space, and led by a commitment to original content and breaking news stories, Oxygen.com is pacing to have its best year ever for visits (62 million) and unique visitors (averaging 3.5 million a month). In addition, on digital platforms in 2017-to-date, Oxygen has generated 9.5 million live streams and 8.3 million on-demand views (up +659% and up +62% vs. 2016).
